Dr. Gwendoline Diet is a dermatologist in Brussels, she graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She trained in dermatology at the Erasme hospital in Brussels and at the Notre-Dame de Grâce (CNDG) hospital in Gosselies.

During her specialization, she trained in the detection and diagnosis of skin cancers using non-invasive imaging techniques (confocal, LC-OCT) under the guidance of Professor Suppa and world experts in the field. She has also been trained in the treatment of scalp pathologies by Professor del Marmol. In addition, her degree in infectious and tropical dermatology has enabled her to set up a new consultation dedicated to infectious dermatology in collaboration with the infectious diseases department at Erasme Hospital.

During the last few years of her specialization, Dr Diet has concentrated on pathologies of the female mucosa. Due to the contribution of non-invasive imaging and her expertise in the treatment of malignant mucosal pathologies, she was able to finalize her specialist thesis and publish a study on the subject in a recognized scientific journal.

Dr Diet holds a diploma in dermatology of infectious and tropical diseases (Sorbonne University, Paris) and an inter-university diploma in paediatric dermatology (University of Burgundy, Dijon).

She is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (SRBDV), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and the Non-Invasive Skin Imaging Group (GICNI).
